Psychotherapy in Southwest London and online

A space to begin

Perhaps you feel something needs attention but you’re not quite sure how to start or what to say. The therapy room is a space to pause, be heard, and explore what matters most to you.

Psychotherapy

  • Psychotherapy is a deeply human practice grounded in the belief that meaningful change emerges through genuine connection.

At the heart of my work is the person-centred approach, which trusts people’s capacity to make sense of their experiences when met with empathy and acceptance. I work relationally, showing up as a real person and taking the relationship between us seriously. I am curious about how you experience your life and attentive to what unfolds between us.

I am deeply committed to working in a way that does not pathologise human experience. Much of what brings people to therapy is not illness, but the challenges of being human in complex circumstances. I offer a steady, thoughtful space where your experience can be understood on its own terms.

  • If you would like a space to talk, then you are welcome.

People come to therapy for many reasons, including:

    • Anxiety, low mood, or emotional overwhelm

    • Self-doubt and low self-esteem

    • Feeling numb, disconnected or stuck

    • Life transitions or relationship changes

    • Loss and grief

    • Processing past experiences, including trauma

    • A desire for deeper self-understanding

    • Simply needing space to think, feel, and be without judgment

Perhaps you’ve have been doubting yourself, feeling disconnected, or unsure how to find your way back to who you are. Therapy can be a place to pause and a space to start making sense of things again.

  • My sessions offer a consistent, supportive space where you can bring whatever feels most present for you. Some people arrive with clear concerns; others begin with a sense that something isn’t quite right. Both are welcome.

The therapy room is a space to speak freely and at your own pace. Careful attention is given to what feels present as understanding takes shape over time.

Psychotherapy South West London
  • I welcome people from all backgrounds and with all kinds of lived experience.

I have a particular interest and experience in working with times of transition, particularly moments when life shifts, whether expected or unexpected. This might include experiences of grief or loss, becoming a parent, changes in identity, relationships beginning or ending, or periods of uncertainty about direction or purpose.

  • Research consistently shows that the most important factor in therapy is the quality of the relationship between therapist and client. Put simply: a good connection between us makes all the difference!

I offer an introductory call to explore the fit and see how it feels to start the journey. It’s an opportunity to ask questions, discuss what you’re looking for, and get a sense of whether working together feels right.

My Background and Experience

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in education supporting young people who were struggling to find their place in the world. That experience deepened my belief in the power of empathy and genuine connection to bring about change. I later moved into supporting survivors of domestic abuse and gender-based violence as they rebuilt their sense of safety and self.

In 2022, I began training at the Metanoia Institute in Contemporary Person-centred Psychotherapy, and since 2023, I’ve worked for low-cost therapy services across London. I’m now registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) as a psychotherapist in training and am working towards full accreditation in private practice.
